Ingredients

6 servings
  • 105 gramscake flour
  • 30 gramshoney (for moist donuts!)
  • 5 gramsaluminum-free baking powder
  • 1 dashsalt
  • 12 gramsskim milk powder
  • 60 gramsplain yogurt
  • 30 gramsmilk (soy milk will result in a dense finish)
  • 1egg
  • To Taste;
  • as needed sweet toppings
  • as needed cheese, corn, and parsley for savory doughnuts

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine the ingredients and spoon or squeeze (with a pastry bag) the batter into the silicone donut mold.

  2. 2

    Lightly bake at 180°C for 15 minutes. Adjust to your oven.

  3. 3

    Be careful not to over-bake it. The dough with become tough. Bake it for less time than usual baked donuts.

  4. 4

    Serve while it's fluffy and freshly baked.

  5. 5

    It's an oil-free dough, so using a larger mold with a generous amount of batter will probably make it a fluffier donut.

  6. 6

    The honey is indispensable to give these the proper texture. I don't recommend reducing it by much.

  7. 7

    This one was cut in half like a bagel and filled with raw vegetables!! It's crispy and delicious.
