Ingredients

30 minutes
Serves 6 servings
  1. 2.2 poundsground beef (1 kilogram)
  2. 2onions
  3. 2eggs
  4. 1 cupplain breadcrumbs (about 100 grams)
  5. 2 teaspoonssalt
  6. 1 tablespoondried mint
  7. 2 tablespoonsdried oregano
  8. 1/2 cupmilk (120 ml)
  9. Black pepper to taste

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Place the ground beef in a bowl with the breadcrumbs and milk.

  2. 2

    Blend all the remaining ingredients in a blender until smooth.

  3. 3

    Add the blended mixture to the bowl with the ground beef and mix well by hand.

  4. 4

    Shape the mixture into oval sausage-like logs.

  5. 5

    Refrigerate for 1 hour to let the herbs release their aroma and the breadcrumbs absorb the moisture.

  6. 6

    Grill over medium charcoal heat, turning often so they don't burn.
