Ingredients

1 salad
  1. tomatoes
  2. bell peppers
  3. onion
  4. cucumber
  5. olive oil
  6. vinegar
  7. salt
  8. oregano
  9. Optional
  10. capers
  11. purslane (during the summer months)

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the tomatoes into small bites, and slice the bell peppers, onion, and cucumber into rings in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add plenty of olive oil (for the necessary "dipping"), vinegar, salt, and oregano.

  3. 3

    If desired, add capers.

  4. 4

    During the summer months, be sure to add purslane!
