Baklava with Walnuts and Sesame

Mix the sugar with the cinnamon, walnuts, and sesame seeds.

Brush a baking pan with oil or butter and layer the phyllo sheets one by one, brushing each with oil or butter as well.

After layering 4 sheets, sprinkle some of the filling over them. Continue layering another 4 sheets, then more filling, repeating the process until all the ingredients are used. Roll the sheets up into a log.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 45 minutes.

Boil the syrup ingredients for 7 minutes. Let the syrup cool, then pour it over the hot baklava after cutting it into pieces.
