Place the water, the evaporated milk, the salt and the yeast in a bowl. Mix and start adding flour, little by little until you have a dough that is neither firm or sticks to your hands.

Cover with a tea towel and let it rest and rise.

Prepare the filling of your liking.

You can fill them with ground beef that you have cooked so that it is left with very little of its liquids or fill them with cheese and ham.

When the dough rises, take pieces that are slightly larger than a walnut and roll them out in the shape of a boat (oval-shape, like an egg), add the filling and pinch the ends together.

Place them in a baking tray brushed with butter and bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes in a preheated oven.

When they are done, brush them with butter while they are hot.
