Kheer is my all time favourite. This recipe brings back childhood memories of my mummy making this kheer for us.
Steps

Take a pan and put some ghee in it.

Roast the rice till they turn into a yellow colour. Add boiled milk in it.

Cook till the milk quantity is reduced to half. Check whether the rice is soft and cooked completely.

Add sugar in it and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add dry fruits, elaichi powder and safron strands.

Refrigrate for 30 minutes. Garnish with almonds pieces and serve.
