Ingredients

  • 1foil pan
  • 1 stickbutter
  • 2 canyams 40 oz
  • 2/3 cuplite or dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 tspcinnamon
  • 1/2 tspallspice
  • 1/3 cupyam liquid
  • 1/3 cupmollasses
  • 1/2 cupcoconut
  • 1/2 cupchopped pecans

Steps

  1. 1

    Pour off all but 1/3C liquid from potatoes

  2. 2

    Mash sweet potatoes and pour in mixing bowl

  3. 3

    Melt butter in saute pan

  4. 4

    Add brown sugar

  5. 5

    Add cinnamon and allspice

  6. 6

    Add yam liquid and molasses

  7. 7

    Bring to boil

  8. 8

    Pour over mashed sweet potatoes

  9. 9

    Add coconut and chopped pecans

  10. 10

    Stir all together

  11. 11

    Spread in pan

  12. 12

    Bake at 350 for 20 min's
