  2. 1/2 cupButter or Margarine
  3. 2Eggs, well beaten
  4. 2 cupWhole Wheat Flour
  5. 2 tspBaking Powder
  6. 1/4 tspBaking Soda
  7. 2 tspCinnamon
  8. 1/2 tspSalt
  9. 1 cupCold Water
  10. 1 cupChopped Nuts
  11. 3 tbspGinger
  12. 1 tspground cloves

    Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

    Cream butter and honey together.

  3. 3

    Add the eggs, well beaten

  4. 4

    Mix and sift the dry ingredients together, and add alternately with the water.

  5. 5

    Add the chopped nuts last.

  6. 6

    Bake in a 350 ° F oven for 45 minutes, our until done.
