Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2-3 cupsleftover khichdi
  2. 1/2 cupfresh veggies of your choice ; diced
  3. 2 tbspbutter or ghee
  4. to taste Salt
  5. 1 tbspchilli flakes
  6. 1 tbspgreen chillies ; finely chopped
  7. Coriander for garnishing
  8. 1 tbsppavbhaaji masala
  9. 1 tspgaram masala
  10. 1 tbspgarlic mince
  11. 1 tspcaraway seeds

Steps

20 mins
  1. 1

    Heat the butter or ghee in a non-stick deep fry pan.

  2. 2

    Saute the veggies with all the masalas.

  3. 3

    After about 10 mins of stir frying, add khichdi and cook it covered over low flame for 5-10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Serve hot with any raita of your choice.

  5. 5

    I served them with curd chillies to the adults and kids will relish it as it is because it does not require any accompaniment whatsoever.
