Cooking Instructions
- 1
put tomatoes in pot of water, boil until tomatoes are a little soft
- 2
place tomatoes, onion, garlic, chicken flavor bouillon, flour, oregano, cumin and salt into blender. Puree until smooth.
- 3
preheat about a tablespoon of vegetable oil and pour the tomato puree in. Let simmeron medium, turn off heat after about 15 min
- 4
In a seperate pan heat about 1/2 cup vegetable oil. Once oil has heated, lower temperature to medium. Pllace tortilla in for only a few seconds each side. This is only to soften tortilla. Remove tortilla and place into tomato puree to coat both sides
- 5
place coated tortilla on plate and sprinkle amount of cheese you like. You can either layer them flat and stack them 2 or three on top of each other, or roll like enchiladas
- 6
You can top with cheese, chopped onion and cilantro.

Love this recipe, easy to make and inexpensive. I played around with this recipe a lot. I've used different types of cheeses , made them with just cheese. You can stack them as high as you like even use more sauce or less. Whatever your preference is make it your own. Hope you enjoy!orlando.avila1977

Enchiladas Enchiladas
My husband and I both love enchiladas! We tried a lot of enchiladas and chose this as our family enchilada recipe. If you can't find McCormick's taco seasoning mix or chili seasoning mix, you can use taco mix and chili powder that's usually available in Japanese supermarkets. I use Old El Paso enchilada sauce. Recipe by carino11 cookpad.japan -
Enchiladas Enchiladas
When we make enchiladas we can't decide which ones we like better Beef or Chicken. So we usually make both but if you just want one or the other than double up on the beef or the chicken and take out the other meat for this recipe. Adrianne Meszaros -
