Ingredients

  • 2 cupMakhane -
  • 25-30Cashew -
  • 6-8cashwes - for curry
  • 1/2 cupOil -
  • 4 ( 250 grams)For Gravy:Tomatoes -
  • 3Onions -
  • 6-7 clovesGarlic -
  • 1 inchGinger -
  • 3/4Green chillies -
  • 1 tspSalt -
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powered -
  • 1/4 tspKashmiri mirch -
  • 1 tspTurmeric -
  • 2 tspCumin seeds -
  • 1Bay leaf -
  • pinchSesame seeds -
  • 2 pinchAsafoetida -
  • 1/2 tspCinnamon stick / powder -
  • pinchBlack pepper -
  • 1/2 tspGaram masala -
  • 2 tspCoriander powder -
  • Green coriander - finely chopped
  • 2 tspFresh cream -
  • 1 cupMilk -
  • Water - for gravy (upto u)
  • Tomatoes puree - optional
  • 5-6Rasinis -

Steps

20 mins.
  1. 1

    Put ghee in pan. Roast makhane & some cashwes. Keep them aside in plate / bowl.

    Heat a pan again put ghee & cumin seeds, sesame seeds & bay leaf.now add onion,ginger-garlic& green chillies paste.... Saute them well.after 3-4 mins add salt,red chillies,black pepper turmeric&asafoetida in it.mix it well

    Now add tomatoes paste + tomatoes puree (if u want).saute it well....put cashew paste in it.

    Now add Rasinis, roasted makhane & cashwes in it.let them cook in milk.spread cinnamon powder on gravy.cover it for 2 mins.on sim gas.

    Uncover the pan,add cream & coriander powder. Mix them well.pour green coriander for garnishing

    Its ready to serve.serve hot with lacchaa pranthas or rice.
