This soup is traditionally made with shark in Portugal, but you can substitute it with any other fish that is similar to shark. My mother does this recipe often. If you think it's in need of more vinegar add more bit by bit until you reach your desirable taste, likewise with the other ingredients, but this is how I prefer mine.

This can be made in an crockpot, instant pot, or stove top. I made this in a pressure cooker, so easy and oh so good. I seen so many different recipe for stuffed pepper soup this is my take on it.This really hit the spot on a snowy and raining cold day. ( so much easier than making stuffed peppers what I don’t think my kids would even eat, but they sure did eat this and liked it, iam surprise I had none left.)

This soup has all the flavor of stuffed peppers in a warm bowl of soup! Easy to make and freezes beautifully.

I love stuffed peppers, my kids not so much lol. One day I was in a cafe where they serve a stuffed pepper soup it was amazing so I thought why can't I make this at home. I decided to take all of the components of my stuff peppers and turn it into a soup. This was so tasty and delicious my kids absolutely love it and they won't eat stuffed peppers by themselves but they will eat all of the soup. I don't have to season it too much because sweet Italian sausage has so much flavor but in a nutshell however you make your stuffed peppers season it the same way in the soup.

I love stuffed peppers, but always make to many. One night I had some and thought hmm soup would be good too. So I just combined the two and viola!! Flavors of the peppers in soup form. This is hearty and comforting.
