World's Best Mutton Biryani!

This biryani can be made using any meat or vegetables. It's that kind of a biryani which is totally fuss free, one pot wonder but 10/10 on taste and presentation. Goes best with Onion Raita.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add the chopped onions, and sauté them until they are well browned.
- 2
Add mutton and fresh pounded ginger garlic and stir. Add 1/4 glass of water to the cooker and add yogurt, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf, red chilly powder, turmeric, salt, powdered - coriander, cumin and black pepper. Stir finally add cumin seeds and pressure the cooker until 3 whistles.
- 3
After three whistles, add the chopped tomatoes, green chilies and coriander along with kewra essence to the curry and let it cook till the curry thickens a little.
- 4
Color the par boiled rice now before putting it on dum along with the mutton like I did. Also add saffron strands to the lukewarm milk and stir well.
- 5
After the curry thickens, put the cooker under a heavy bottomed pan and put the gas on its lowest flame. Add the rice on top of it, pour the milk saffron mixture over it and cover it first with a cloth and then with the plate and Dum for atleast 20 minutes.
- 6
If you don't have a heavy bottomed pan then directly put the cooker on the lowest gas flame for 5 minutes.
- 7
Happy Cooking! :)

Mutton Dum Biryani Mutton Dum Biryani
Biryani can be made in many styles. This is one way of cooking Biryani. You can also use chicken or beef. Be careful & patient while you make a Biryani. It is kind of a long process. This is not a healthy recipe. However, you can try to use less oil or ghee during the preparation, also change the quantity of spices according to your taste buds & avoid pineapple if you don't like it. Mix & serve. Pen Friend -
Achari Mutton Dum Biryani Achari Mutton Dum Biryani
#bandhan - Biryani is universally popular. I gave a twist to the original recipe by adding some bottled garlic pickle masala. This gave the Biryani a slightly different flavour. It turned out simply awesome with a hint of achari taste. Serve this yummy one-pot delicacy with some raita, sliced onion and lemon. Bethica Das -

Chicken Biryani: Authentic Indian Rice Dish Chicken Biryani: Authentic Indian Rice Dish
This is a dish that is served for celebrations, and it's one of my favorites. I saw chicken biryani and chakauni on a TV show, and got the urge to eat it for the first time in a while. I made it at home to celebrate the anniversary of the day I left India.Basmati rice is ideal, but if you are using regular white rice, make sure to cook it so it's firm since it will be steamed with the chicken in Step 16.When serving on a plate, combine the chicken sauce on the bottom of the pan with the rice evenly. This is even better when served with tomato onion raita or chukauni. For 3 adult sized servings. Recipe by Plabar cookpad.japan -

I am following cookpad member Pinkblankets Kitchen’s recipe for her leftover lamb biryani, using lamb neck bones and a lamb shoulder steak, which I marinaded. Thank you! My kitchen smells like the buffet in the Indian restaurant. Tastes delicious, too. Hobby Horseman -
