Ingredients

  1. Soup
  2. 500 gramstomato passata
  3. 400 gramsfrozen peas, thawed
  4. 1 smallshallot, diced
  5. 1garlic clove, minced
  6. 1 tspsugar
  7. 1vegetable stock cube
  8. 1salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper
  9. Dumplings
  10. 1 pinchbaking powder
  11. 1/2 tspsalt
  12. 3 tbspall-purpose flour
  13. 1egg
  14. 1 tbspvegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

    Heat some oil in a pot over medium high heat. Add the shallot. Fry for a minute then add garlic. After about 30 sec add peas

    Next, add tomato passata and some water (between 1 and 2 cups) with a crumbled stock cube. Bring to a boil

    Season with salt, pepper, sugar and cayenne.

    Combine all the dumpling ingredients. Add one teaspoon worth of mixture in the boiling soup. Cover for 1 minute

    When dumplings are cooked, serve. Enjoy :)
