Toast one side of the bread

In a bowl, grate enough cheese to provide a very generous covering of the bread, add the egg(s), one for two slices of bread, two for three/fours slices, etc. add salt and pepper to season.

Mix up the ingredients with a tiny splash of milk in the mix to help with the mixing, the mixture should not be at all wattery.

Spoon mixture on untoasted side of toast, providing a relatively generous covering, ensuring the mixture is not to wet

Grill, place medium to low under the grill and grill until the mixture melts and is starting to blacken.
