Maharashtrian Kadakani

Take water in a bowl and add powdered sugar. Mix well.Sugar should completely dissolve in water. Keep it aside.

Take rava into a bowl. Add maida, salt, oil and mix well. Add sugar water and knead well.

Give it a coating of oil and keep it aside. Cover the rest of the dough for an hour.

Later, take the dough and knead it once more. Make small balls from it.

Roll poori from each dough ball. Roll poori as thin as possible. But, Kadakani should not puff up like poori.

Make small holes with the help of fork on each kadakani. Keep the ready kadakani aside.

Heat up oil on medium heat.

Drop kadakani into oil and fry until it gets light golden color from both sides. Do not make it brown. Fry kadakani on medium heat only.

Take them kadakani out of oil.
