Even in summer I can crave this full of flavor pasta dish. Cheesy from a four cheese blend, quick to make. Delicious any time of year. Grab a glass of wine and enjoy!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a large dutch oven, I used a ceramic coated cast iron one, add 1 teaspoon oil.
- 2
Set temp to medium. Once oil is hot, add in sausage chunks. Don't stir.
- 3
Place onion slices on top.
- 4
Let cook for 5 minutes without stirring. You are getting a good brown on the sausage. It is not mentioned in ingredients but you may now sprinkle a small amount of red pepper flakes on top of onions at this point.
- 5
Take water and deglaze pan, scrapping up any brown bits on bottom.
- 6
Top onions now with kale, salt , pepper and garlic.
- 7
Turn temp to low and cover to wilt kale.
- 8
In the meantime, pasta should be cooking and just about ready to drain.
- 9
Cook kale about 6-7 minutes until fully wilted. Turn off heat and add one half of shredded cheese. Stir.
- 10
Add cooked drained pasta. Top with olive oil and rest of cheese.
- 11
Stir then serve nice and hot!

Savory Sausage Tomato Pasta Recipe Savory Sausage Tomato Pasta Recipe
A comforting dish that combines the rich, natural flavors of savory Italian sausage and velvety tomato paste. The sausage is cooked to perfection, its fat rendered to create a luscious roux that forms the base of a smooth, full-bodied sauce. Delicately balanced with a hint of aromatics, including garlic zested into a silky paste for an even, subtle flavor, the sauce coats every strand of seasoned al dente angel hair pasta. This dish offers a harmonious blend of rich sausage undertones, subtle tomato sweetness, and a velvety finish that spreads effortlessly across every bite. Stephen Tippie -
Tuscany Sausage Pasta Tuscany Sausage Pasta
I love all things Italian and pasta. I put together this quick meal one night after much running around with my teenage daughters. I used everyday ingredients found in my pantry and refrigerator. Given the day and items on hand, I will add asparagus or mushrooms if available. I hope you enjoy.Melissa Franks

Pumpkin and Sausage Pasta Pumpkin and Sausage Pasta
Is it Fall yet? Time to add pumpkin to ALL the things! 🤪. Well, actually, you won’t regret adding it to this hearty pasta dish. It’s savory, filling, and a good way to warm up when it gets blustery outside. There are a crazy number of similar recipes floating around, but best I can tell, Rachel Ray popularized it around 2004. I used her version as a starting point. Chris Gan -
