Cooking Instructions

Dough cover for litti. Sieve the wheat flour well.add all the ingredients except the ghee.knead a stiff and soft dough and keep aside for half hour.

For stuffing. Mix all ingredients properly in a bowl.mix the ingredients,sprinkle 2 tsp water all over and mix the flour with water evenly. do add more water if required the sattu stuffing mixture should not be too dry or to wet.if the mixture is dry then the dryness is felt when eating littis.

For litti.Tak the dough and make 7-8 balls out of it.tak each ball and flatten it between your palms and slowly make a depression with your fingers.fill a portion of the stuffing and close the balls by lifting the sides by hand and flatten the litti a bit by pressing your palm.

Preheat the tandoor and place the stuffing place of dough in it carefully. cook it by turning sides regularly till they turn brown,usually takes 25-35 minutes.

For chokha. Take a bowl add boiled mash potatoes add all ingredients, mix very well and serve litti in some melted ghee and place long with the chokha.
