Ingredients

  • 1 lbstew meat (any red meat cut in cubes)
  • 1 largeonion, chopped
  • 4 mediumpotatoes, cubed
  • 5carrots chopped
  • 1 mediumgreen pepper
  • 116oz box of mushrooms
  • 1bottle of dark beer
  • 2bullion cubes
  • 1 tsproasted garlic (2cloves if fresh)
  • 2 tbspblack pepper
  • 3 tbspcorn starch
  • 1/2 tsprosemary
  • 1 tbspworcestershire sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Add everything but the mushrooms and cornstarch to a large crockpot. Set on high for 6 hrs

  2. 2

    After 2 hrs add the mushrooms

  3. 3

  4. 4

    After 2 more hours add the cornstarch mix it in well. Let the last 2 hours cook in the statch and thicken the broth

Way too much pepper, maybe 2 teaspoons. The pepper over powered the whole dish.
