In a mixing bowl, mix all ingredients.Pour oil and mix with a light hand.

Now add water and make into dough. Do not over knead the dough or knead stiff dough.

Now place dough in the chakli press., (chakli maker)

In quick round motion, make chakli on plastic sheet or oiled surface.

Heat oil in Kadhai until medium flame. Carefully pick chakli with spatula and deep-fry until crisp on medium flame.

Chakli (murrukku) is ready. Let it cool on room temperature. Store it in air tight jar.
