Garlic Fried Halloumi Chilli

At first I was going to grill the cheese on a griddle pan but after re-thinking I made this instead. But it is one of those things that have to be eaten right away.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2garlic cloves, sliced
  2. 1 tspchilli oil
  3. 2 tbspolive oil, extra virgin
  4. 1dried chilli
  5. 1 blockHalloumi cheese, sliced
  6. 1 bunchfresh parsley, chopped
  7. 1 squeezelemon juice

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the olive oil and chill oil together.

  2. 2

    Add the cheese, garlic, lemon juice and dried chilli.

  3. 3

    Add the chopped parsley about a minute to a minute in half after adding the cheese.

  4. 4

    Fry for 4-5 minutes on a medium heat until the cheese is crispy on the outside and slightly browned on the surface.

  5. 5

    Serve with warm crusty bread.
