Marinating the chicken overnight & cooking on a low flame & turning & brushing with the marinade every 5 minutes keeps this chicken juicy & flavorful & is perfect at room temperature. I packed it for a boat cruise on the 4th of July & it was a big hit, everyone loved it.

Marinating the chicken overnight & cooking on a low flame & turning & brushing with the marinade every 5 minutes keeps this chicken juicy & flavorful & is perfect at room temperature. I packed it for a boat cruise on the 4th of July & it was a big hit, everyone loved it.

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 12 piecechicken legs, thighs & breast
  2. 1 cupolive oil
  3. 1/4 cupbalsamic vinegar
  4. 1 tbspwater
  5. 1 tbspsalt
  6. 1/2 tbspblack pepper
  7. 1/2 tbspgarlic powder
  8. 1/2 tbsponion powder
  9. 1 tbspItalian seasoning

Cooking Instructions

    Put chicken in a bowl with all the ingredients & mix well & cover & refrigerate overnight.

    Take chicken out of refrigerator 1 hour before cooking to get to room temperature.

  3. 3

    Cook chicken on preheated grill on low temperature, turning & basting every 5 minutes with the marinade that's in the bowl & do not baste for the last 10 minutes of cooking. Should take about 30 minutes more or less depending on the size of the chicken pieces.
