Mix milk and vinegar and set aside

Cut onion in half, then into thin strips, sprinkle with Cajun seasoning

Soak union strips in milk for an hour or two
- 4
Mix 2 cups flour and and quarter cup Cajun seasoning together. I like to put mine in a paper bag, easy to toss and clean up

Drain onions thoroughly and add to flour mix a little at a time

Shake off as much flour as you can and fry, and drop one or two at a time into 375°F oil
- 7
Remove when golden brown and salt if desired
