Ingredients

  1. 1/2 lbcrab meat
  2. 1/2 lbsmall scallops
  3. 3/4 cupcrushed oyster crackers
  4. 1/2 cupmixed (white®ular) mild shredded cheddar cheese
  5. 1 tbsponion, finely chopped
  6. 1 tbspred pepper, finely chopped
  7. 1 tspminced garlic
  8. 1egg
  9. 2 tbspmayonnaise
  10. 1/2 tbspold bay seasoning
  11. 1/2 tspsalt
  12. 1/2 tspblack pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients in bowl, except for the peanut oil.

  2. 2

    Form crab mixture into equal patties, approximately three inches in diameter.

    In a sauté pan heat 2 tablespoons of peanut oil.

  4. 4

    Brown on one side approximately two-to-three minutes. Turn and brown the other side.

  5. 5

    Turn down heat and simmer crab cakes another 5-8 minutes.
