Cooked Tuna
My dear aunt taught me this recipe. I love her so much, and I love her cooking—it's always so delicious! I hope you try it; it has a unique and amazing flavor.
Steps
- 1
Cut the vegetables into small cubes and place them in a bowl lightly greased with oil.
- 2
Add the tuna and spices, and mix well. (Note: If your canned tuna is packed in oil, drain the oil and replace it with just under 1/4 cup water. If it's packed in water, you can keep the water. I used tuna packed in water and kept it.)
- 3
Mix with the spices and tuna water.
- 4
After 5 minutes, add the thick sauce or tomato paste mixture.
- 5
- 6
Wait for 8 minutes, then turn off the heat. This is how it looks when finished.
- 7
Serve with salad, cucumber, arugula, and ketchup if desired.
