After Brunch Sandwich
You ever feel that you want a takeaway level sandwich but you'd rather just make one at home? Perhaps even several times during the week because the taste and ease of making doesn't get old fast? This is your recipe then.
Steps
- 1
All ingredients are store bought at your local supermarket.
- 2
Preheat a frying pan on medium. Use cooking spray to oil the pan.
- 3
Butter both slices of bread with the tomato and basil butter then place both slices, unbuttered sides facing down on the pan. Place your cheese on one buttered side up slice. Toast until the unbuttered sides are almost dark brown.
- 4
Fry your egg sunny side up if you want one. Keep the yolk runny
- 5
Fry the strips of bacon until crispy.
- 6
Assemble the sandwich! Bacon after the cheese, then gherkins then an egg if you so wish.
- 7
Don't forget to clean up and enjoy!
