Egg biryani

This is one of the most scrumptious and delicious biryani recipe for egg lovers. A flavourful rice which is accompanied by a very spicy egg just complements one another. When you are craving for biryani but do not have much time to marinade and cook mutton or chicken, it will be your saver.

Heat oil and 1 tbsp ghee in a kadai.

Add sliced onions and cook until brown.

Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute for 3 minutes.

Add tomato, coriander powder, turmeric powder.

Saute.

Now Add salt, coriander leaves, mint leaves.

Cook the rice with whole spices and drain water.

Divide rice into 3 parts.

In one part add orange colour.

One part keep white.

The 3rd part will go in the kadai.

Mix well. Check seasoning.

Now in a separate pan heat some oil.

Add turmeric powder a pinch, salt, red chilli powder.

Add ginger garlic paste 1/4 tsp.

Now add the eggs in it.

Saute until brown.

Just before serving add all the rice give it a good mix.

Be sure to keep some rice white.

Place the egg in rice, sprinkle some brown onion, ghee and serve hot with salad and raita.
