Ingredients

  • 1 tbspOlive oil
  • 1 tbspMargarine (not diet or light)
  • 1/4 cupDiced onion
  • 3 tbspFlour
  • 2 cupMilk
  • 1 pinchNutmeg
  • 1Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tspOnion powder
  • 1 canDrained mushrooms
  • 1 mediumbag egg noodles
  • 2 cupCooked chopped ham, roast beef or ground beef

Steps

  1. 1

    Saute onion in oil & margarine

  2. 2

    When soft, whisk in flour, then whisk in milk

  3. 3

    Cook on medium heat till gravy-like

  4. 4

    Add seasonings

  5. 5

    Remove from heat

  6. 6

    Cook noodles, rinse slightly & drain

  7. 7

    Stir in gravy mixture, mushrooms & choice of meat

  8. 8

    Bake in greased pan at 350 till bubbly

  9. 9

    Can be prepared in the morning & refrigerated til ready to bake
