Add maida and ghee in a bowl and make a soft dough by adding little water to it. Rest for 10 minutes.

Mix all the ingredients of stuffing (mawa, sugar and chopped dry nuts).

Divide the dough into 12 equal parts and roll them like thin rotis/ chapatis

Take a roti, put 1 teaspoon of stuffing at the center of the roti and cover another roti and fold the edges to make a design of chandrakala.

Meanwhile heat enough ghee in a pan and fry the chandrakala sweet on slow flame till they become golden and crispy.

Make a 2 string syrup in a pan by adding water and sugar.

Dip the fried chandrakalas in sugar syrup for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, take out chandrakala from the syrup.

Delicious sweet 'Chandrakala' is ready to be served!!
