Made selection with white sugar, brown sugar, and one with red food coloring

Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 1 cupsugar (brown or white)
  2. 1 1/2 cupwater
  3. 3 cuprice flour
  4. 3/4 cupflour
  5. 1 tbspbaking powder

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixing bowl, dissolve sugar in water

  2. 2

    Add in rice flour and mix well

  3. 3

    Sift flour and baking powder, add to bowl and mix throughly

  4. 4

    Fruit flavor gelatin or food coloring may be added for color and taste.

  5. 5

    Pour batter into small bowls, place in steamer and steam for about 30 minutes

  6. 6

    Slice the cakes to fry or steam then when ready to serve. Usually served at new years.
