Ingredients

4 - 6 servings
  • 200 gmsTamarind / imli -
  • 250 gmSugar -
  • 5 gmsBlack salt -
  • to tasteSalt -
  • 1 tspRoasted cumin seeds powder -
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder -
  • 2 tbspCrushed cashew nuts -
  • 2 tbspCrushed almonds -
  • 2 tbspRaisins -
  • 1 bowlChopped mixed fruit -

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak tamarind / imli is water and squeeze out the pulp.

  2. 2

    In a pan add tamarind pulp sugar and water in a medium flame.

  3. 3

    Boil till it gets thick.

  4. 4

    Add roasted cumin seeds powder,salt,black salt,red chilli powder and mix well.

  5. 5

    Once cooled,add dry fruits (cashew nuts,almonds and raisins) and mix well.

  6. 6

    Add chopped banana,pear,cherry and mango.

  7. 7

    Serve chilled.
