Wash and Soak the imli in water for over night.

Prepare tamarind water from tamarind.

Take a pan or kadai on medium flame.

Add oil and heat.

Add cumin seeds

Now add tamarind water and boil well.

After boiling add jiggery/gud and cook well

Add 1 cup water and cook for 15-20 minutes on high flame

Now add Bhuna masala. And cook for another 10 minutes.

Chutney is ready now. Use in chaat or as dip.
