Ingredients

3-4 persons
  1. 2 cupsfresh khopra coconut
  2. 1small bunch of Coriander leaves chopped
  3. 3green chillies chopped
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1 cupcurd
  6. 1 tspmustard seeds
  7. 2-3 stringsneem leaves
  8. 2dry red chillies cut into pieces
  9. 1 tspurad dal
  10. 1 tspoil for tempering the chutney

Steps

  1. 1

    In a mixer jar add chopped fresh coconut, chopped Coriander, green chillies and Curd.

  2. 2

    Grind the Chutney till smooth.Add little water if required.

  3. 3

    Transfer the Chutney in a bowl.Add salt to taste.

  4. 4

    Now in a small bowl add oil for tempering. Heat the oil.

  5. 5

    Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and urad dal and dry red chillies.when the mustard seeds starts sputtering add the tempering to the Chutney and mix well.

  6. 6

    Serve this yummy coconut Chutney with Idli, dosa and Uttapam.
