Ingredients

  1. 300 gramsstrong white flour
  2. 7 gramsquick act yeast
  3. 1/2 tspsalt
  4. 15 gramsmargerine
  5. 1milk for glazzing
  6. 8 tsppoppy/sesame seeds
  7. 200 mlhot water

Cooking Instructions

    preheat oven to 220 degress or gass mask 8

    grease or line the baking tray

  3. 3

    sift the flour and salt into the mixing bowl

  4. 4

    rub in the margerinexx

  5. 5

    stir in the yeast

  6. 6

    make a well in the centre and put in the hot water

  7. 7

    work into a soft dough with your hand

  8. 8

    turn into a lightly floured surface and knead for 5- 10 minutes until the dough turns soft and smooth

    put dough into a bowl cover with cling film and leave it to prouve in a warm place until dough has doubled in size

    turn dough onto a lightly floured surface again and knead, divide dough into 8 equal pieces

  11. 11

    pat and roll dough pieces into balls

  12. 12

    put dough balls in tray and brush them with little milk and add poppy or sesame seeds onto have to be sprinkled

  13. 13

    bake rolls for 10 to 13 minutes until they sound hollow on base and are golden brown on the top

  14. 14

    place on cooling rack for them to cool in a minute rufly

  15. 15
