Steps

Peels and shred carrots.

Heat a pan on medium heat, once hot, add ghee or butter.

Add shredded carrots and cook for about 8to 10 mins until the carrots cook down.

Add milk and cook down for about 6 mins or until the milk reduces.

Add cardamom powder and Sugar. Now keep stirring until all the milk evaporates, should be a few minutes. After the milk in evaporated, add half of dry nuts.

Now transfer the gajar halwa to a bowl and garnish with the remaining nuts.

Serve with your family and friends.
