Ingredients

  1. 8chicken thighs
  2. 21⁄2 cups chicken stock
  3. 20garlic cloves, sliced thin
  4. 2 teaspoonsbutter
  5. 1 teaspoonolive oil
  6. 2lemons, skinned and sliced
  7. 1lemon, juice of
  8. 6 teaspoonsflour
  9. 1⁄2 cup dry white wine
  10. 2 teaspoonsfresh parsley, chopped

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°.

  2. 2

    Bring stock, garlic to a boil, remove from heat add lemon juice and white wine.

  3. 3

    Heat 1 tsp butter and oil in pan. Sauté chicken skin side down until skin is crisp.

  4. 4

    Put chicken in baking dish.

  5. 5

    Make roux: Heat 1 tsp butter and cook 3 tsp flour until lightly brown.

  6. 6

    Add roux to stock and whisk until slightly thickened and smooth.

  7. 7

    Pour stock and garlic over chicken.

  8. 8

    Add lemon slices.

  9. 9

    Bake 30 -40 minutes.

  10. 10

    Top with parsley and serve.
