Simple Creamy fried Spaghetti

I like to make this simple spaghetti everytime. And my family loves it. If you're a non-vegetarian, add shredded meat after step 4. Good luck... :-)
Simple Creamy fried Spaghetti
I like to make this simple spaghetti everytime. And my family loves it. If you're a non-vegetarian, add shredded meat after step 4. Good luck... :-)
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the spaghetti in the boiling water as per the instructions on the packet itself. (salt for the spaghetti is to be put in the boiling water itself). Run cold water over the cooked spaghetti so that it stops cooking and doesn't stick.
- 2
Heat the fresh cream in a utensil and add salt and the crushed cloves of garlic. (Do not boil). After 3 mins of heating, turn off the gas.
- 3
Heat the oil and butter in a large pan.
- 4
Add the sliced garlic and onions and fry til golden crisp. (Tip: if you fry more and lose the crispiness of the onions, it doesn't go well with the spaghetti).
- 5
Add salt, basil and mixed herbs. Stir well and quickly add the cooked spaghetti. Stir well.
- 6
Add the heated cream to the pan and stir well. Turn off the gas after the flavours have mixed together and SERCE HOT garnished with parmesan cheese.

One Pot Creamy Spaghetti One Pot Creamy Spaghetti
Today is the lazy-but-still-need-to-cook day. Mainly because I had just clean the greasy stove top this morning, hence the thoughts of having oil splattering on it again is just meh. 😕Was thinking of just basic Rice-Egg-Sweet Soya sauce dish today. But suddenly remembered I still have 3 packets of NTUC spaghetti in my pantry. The kids love anything pasta. But then again, pasta needs garlic too.. (there goes my clean stovetop!)So I decided to be creative (yet lazy). I totally skipped any frying in this recipe. But I must say it tasted good albeit no garlic. This recipe should be able to feed four hungry children. Low cost, suitable for end month budget 😅, and fast to cook because very little preparation since it's all in one pot. Cooking Ibu -

Creamy Crock Pot Spaghetti Creamy Crock Pot Spaghetti
This couldn't be any easier! Its a great comfort dish with pasta and creamy tomato meat sauce. Prefer it thinner? Add beef broth instead of the milk. Also, if preferred you can add peppers or onions to the ground beef. Use cooked crumbled sausage instead. Toss in some diced pepperoni, mozzarella or other veggies like spinach, zucchini or mushrooms. Make the dish your own...;) Bridget -

Easy Crab and Tomato Cream Spaghetti Easy Crab and Tomato Cream Spaghetti
Crab means tomato cream sauce to me, so I thought this was a great way to use up leftover crab meat.I wanted to highlight the flavor of the crab, so I didn't add Krazy Salt as I usually do to tomato sauce, but add it if you prefer. Don't mix the sauce too much after adding the crab meat - it won't fall apart as much and you can enjoy the texture more.A previous version of this recipe used a soup stock cube, but I discovered that adding the brown meat or butter from the crab made the sauce really tasty. If you like the brown meat, please be sure to add it! Recipe by Ki-ta cookpad.japan
