Chopped paneer into cubes.
Soak cashew nuts in hot water for 15 minutes and grind it.
Grind the tomatoes and make puree. - 2
Heat 4 tbsp butter in a non-stick pan once the oil is hot add the bay leaf, cloves, cardamoms and saute for a while.

Add ginger garlic and saute.
Now add finely chopped onions and saute till the raw smell goes and onion changes colour slightly.
Add the pureed tomatoes and cook till the tomato puree thickens. - 4
Now add chilli powder, coriander powder mix well.
Add little water and bring to a boil.
Add cashew paste and mix well. Add salt as per taste Add some more water and mix well. Simmer till gravy thickens.
Add fresh cream or Malai and cook for 5 minutes.
Add garam masala and kasuri methi and mix well. - 5
Remove from the flame and add chopped coriander, lemon juice mix well.
Garnish with fresh cream.
Serve hot with roti, naan etc.
