  • 3/4 cupcrisco
  • 1/4 cupMolasses
  • 1egg
  • 2 1/2 cupflour
  • 2 tspBaking soda
  • 2 tspcloves
  • 2 tbspCinnamon

    Cream sugar and shortening

    Add molasses

  3. 3

    Beat egg and add to mixture

  4. 4

    Sift flour soda cinnamon and cloves

  5. 5

    Gradually combine

  6. 6

    Mix well

  7. 7

    Chill

  8. 8

    roll walnut sized balls in sugar

  9. 9

    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet

  10. 10

    375. 8 to 10 minutes
