Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease a large Bundt pan and sprinkle the nuts evenly over bottom of pan.

Combine ingredients for cake, beating until just smooth.

Pour batter in pan and bake 1 hour until done.

in a saucepan, combine butter, water, and sugar and boil for five minutes. Stir in rum and extract.

Poke small holes in top of cooled cake, and Pour glaze evenly over cake. NOT KID FRIENDLY!!!

For kid-friendly version, replace rum in glaze with water or milk for a caramel. Rum in cake will Cook out.
