Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1/2 cup- Rice
  2. 1/2 cup- dhuli moong daal
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. 1/2 tea spoon- turmeric powder
  5. 4cloves
  6. 4 tea spoonghee
  7. 1 pinchhing
  8. 1/4teaspoon-jeera
  9. 1/2cup-Chopped carrot
  10. 1/4cup- peas
  11. 1/4cup- chopped potatoes

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and soak rice and daal for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Take ghee in cooker.heat it.

  3. 3

    Add hing and jeera and cloves.

  4. 4

    Now add soaked daal and chawal when jeera colour changes.

  5. 5

    Add all vegetables.

  6. 6

    Add salt and turmeric powder.

  7. 7

    Add 4 cup water.

  8. 8

    Cover the lid and take 1 whistle on medium flame.

  9. 9

    Khichdi is ready. Serve hot with roasted papad or any flavour what we want.
