Chocolate Chip Muffins (No milk)

I have found that an old oven might take longer than the 23 minutes, and a new one might take sooner than the 17 minutes. I recommend checking them every two minutes after the 15 minute mark.

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F

In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients except chips.

Combine the egg, melted butter, sour cream, and vanilla in a separate bowl.

Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just moistened

Fold in chips.

Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups most of the way full with batter.

Bake at 350° F for 17-23 minutes, depending on your oven.

After toothpick comes out clean, cool for at least 3 minutes before eating. Before that, they will fall apart.
