Ingredients

  1. 500 grChicken gizzards
  2. 2 pcsOnions
  3. 1 pcCarrot
  4. 1 cupSour Cream
  5. Tomato paste 1 tb.s
  6. Ground Cinnamon 1 t.s
  7. Ground Nutmeg 1/4 t.s
  8. Ground Cloves 1/4 t.s
  9. Salt
  10. Pepper
  11. leafBay
  12. Vegetable oil
  13. Fresh dill

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean and wash chicken gizzards, put in the pot with cold water. After water start to boil add some salt and bay leaf and and boil for about 75 minutes on small fire
    Cut the Onions into half rings.
    Carrots grate on a coarse grater.
    Boiled chicken gizzards cut into 2-3 pieces each.

    On a heated pan pour vegetable oil, put the onions and carrots and fry onion until transparent. Add chopped gizzards to the onions and carrots.
    Add the sour cream and one spoon of tomato paste, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground cloves. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
    Sprinkle with finely chopped dill when served.
