1)For making pakwaan we need to combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl knead in to a firm dough using enough water. 2) Divide the dough into equal portions.3) Roll a portion of the dough circle and prick it with a fork.4) Heat the oil in a deep kadhaai and fry it on a medium flame till it turn crisp and golden brown in colour from both the side.

Making of daal

Rinse and soak the chana daal in water for almost 4 hour.

Drain and keep aside

In a pressure cooker, take daal and 2 to 2.5 cup water,salt,turmeric powder, pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles keep the daal aside

In another pan heat oil or ghee when the seed crackle add the green chilli, garam masala,black pepper & dry mango powder.

Now put the cooked chana daal and a bit salt mix well and cook it on a medium flame for 2 to 3 mins. While stir occasionally.

Stir and serve the steaming hot daal with chopped onion and pakwaan.
