Wash & soak whole masoor in water for 4 hrs

Heat oilin a pan on a medium flame.

Add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, black peppercorns, chillies & onions.

Once the onion is golden brown add ginger garlic paste & saute for few second.

Add drained whole masoor & soaked rice & mix well.

Add boil water, goda masala, salt, lemon juice, sugar & allow it to cook till the water evaporates.

Once the water evaporates cover it with lid & allow it to cook for another 5 to 7 minutes.

Masoor pulav is ready to be served.
