I found this recipe on AllRecipes and modified it a tad. It's a great compliment to our ever-changing crackpot chilli.

Preheat oven to 400°F. In a small bowl combine corn meal and milk. Let stand for 5 minutes. Grease a 9 X 13 baking pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix in the cornmeal mixture, eggs and oil until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake 30-35 minutes. Do not over cook. Bread is done when knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
