Ingredients

25 minutes
  1. 1/2 kg. green tomatoes chopped length wise
  2. 1 tsp each of jeera saunf and kalonji
  3. 1 tsp ginger garlic green chillies paste
  4. as per taste salt
  5. 1 tsp haldi
  6. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  7. 1 tspdhania powder
  8. 1 tspGarammasala powder
  9. 5a small piece of JAGGERY little water
  10. 6finely chopped green coriander leaves for garnishing

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Put some cooking oil in a kadhai. When the oil heats up add ingredients listed under number 2 after few seconds add ingredients listed under number 3 lower the heat after 2 mins add all the ingredients listed under number 4.now add tomatoes JAGGERY little water mix everything and cook covered on slow flame for 15 to 20 minutes. Finely garnish with green coriander.

Rani this is delicious!! I've had a glut of green tomatoes and just not tired of this sabzi. Hoping it will be okay to freeze... tho I know it's likely to be mushy on defrosting but as long as the flavours are there I'll be happy!!
