Yummm, cranberries. ooooh, coffee cake. Here's my wife Denny's to die for recipe for a delightful evening snack. I like it thick with butter, but everyone else likes it with whipped butter icing.

Yummm, cranberries. ooooh, coffee cake. Here's my wife Denny's to die for recipe for a delightful evening snack. I like it thick with butter, but everyone else likes it with whipped butter icing.

Preheat oven to 325F

Beat together butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla for two minutes until smooth.

Add flour and cranberries

Mix ingredients by hand until an even consistency is reached

Coat 10" springform pan with butter, and dust with flour for easy release

Pour batter into pan and sprinkle top liberally with white sugar

Bake for 55-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes away clean.
