Ingredients

  1. 2 cupWheat flour
  2. 1/2 cupChopped fenugreek leaves
  3. 1finally chopped onion
  4. 2finally chopped green chilli
  5. to tasteSalt according
  6. 1 tea spoonRed chilli powder
  7. 1 tea spoonGaram masala powder
  8. 1 tea spoonCarrom seeds
  9. Ghee for shellow frying
  10. Note- u can add gram flour also but it's optional

Steps

  1. 1

    Sieve the wheat flour in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Add fenugreek leaves, salt and pepper, carrom seeds, onion and green chillies in it. Mix properly.

  3. 3

    Add some water and knead the dough. Keep aside for 30 min.

  4. 4

    Now take a small ball from the dough.

  5. 5

    Dust with wheat flour & roll it with a rolling pin.

  6. 6

    Heat a tawa. Put some ghee on it.

  7. 7

    Place the parantha on it.

  8. 8

    Flip off after one min.

  9. 9

    Put some ghee on it & shallow fry from both sides till it becomes crispy and golden.

  10. 10

    It's ready. Serve hot with curd, green chutney or butter
