Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 5 1/2 cupchicken broth
  2. 1/2 cupheavy cream
  3. 2 cupchopped kale
  4. 1 lbspicey Italian sausage
  5. 1crushed red pepper to taste
  6. 4 mediumrusset potatoes

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine stock and cream in pot over medium heat

  2. 2

    Slice the unpeeled potatoes into 1/4" slices

  3. 3

    Add kale

  4. 4

    Brown the sausage and chop into bite sized pieces and rinse.

  5. 5

    Add sausage to soup

  6. 6

    Add salt and red pepper

  7. 7

    Simmer for about 1.5 hours or until potatoes are done
